SINGSTAT.GOV.SG is a content-heavy public website that changes often. DOS needed a foundation for frequent updates, complex content structures, embargoed content and release-day traffic, and every major release was prepared and published by hand.

Re-architected and re-platformed onto Optical with Visor on top: content managed dynamically in the CMS, the public site served as static pages, and embargoed pages prepared in advance and released automatically on schedule, with no manual CDN clearing.

The agency ran its CMS on its own hosting, with manual deployment, manual patching and operational checks through a facility management vendor. A change took days to reach production, and IM8, security and accessibility evidence was reassembled by hand.

A CMS upgrade and migration onto the Content Website Platform, so provisioning and deployment run from a self-service portal, security tests recur on a schedule, access goes through TechPass, IM8 controls sit in the platform, and patching is automated.

The site published indicators and datasets as static pages, updated by hand and timed against media announcements, on self-hosted infrastructure that could not reliably serve data-heavy pages to a large audience.

A CMS upgrade and migration onto the Content Website Platform: scheduled publishing with workflow approvals, interactive charts and storyboards, navigation rebuilt around indicators and datasets, and caching sized for peak traffic.

ACRA runs many applications regulating business registration and financial reporting, and all of them have to meet IM8 standards. Most facility management vendors know infrastructure but not cloud, which makes those standards hard to hold over time.

ACRA's cloud architecture on Government Commercial Cloud on AWS, designed around the security requirements of each application and run by a dedicated team. We managed onboarding and supplied a cost-analysis tool and alerts so ACRA can control its spend.

AGC's IT estate had grown beyond what the office could manage internally. Some applications had no source code at all, migrations stalled between multiple managers and stakeholders, and maintaining more than twenty applications at once was beyond the in-house team.

A dedicated AGC team that reverse-engineered undocumented applications to find what could be refined or debugged, took on maintenance and integration across the estate, and ran bulk database migrations into Government Commercial Cloud on AWS.

GCloud, the government's on-premises cloud, was expiring, and every agency had to move its workloads off it before the end of 2019. The replacement had to run across AWS, Azure and GCP at once, and carry government identity, networking, compliance and security with it.

A hybrid cloud spanning all three providers, along four tracks: Azure AD identity synchronised from on-premises, dedicated VPN-hub networking reachable from intranet and internet, common services for compliance and central logging, and a self-service portal.

Government websites ran on-premises on infrastructure that did not scale, and deployment was manual, taking two to three working days per request. Schools ran ungoverned open-source sites that were occasionally compromised.

The Content Website Platform, a subscription SaaS carrying hosting, five managed CMS options, accessibility, user management and security. Sites provision in minutes, patching runs at image level across hundreds of VMs, and NIPS and WAF sit in front.

The MAS corporate website holds everything from regulations and official notices to industry statistics, but search could not narrow thousands of pages to the relevant handful, and the right page still meant walls of text and PDF attachments.

Solr search with faceting by date, section and content type, autosuggestion and autocorrection. A chart builder that turns an uploaded CSV file or an API URL into a data visualisation. Shortcode widgets that let editors drag lists and quotes into Sitecore.
