Sustainability Policy

Updated May 2026

Our commitments on environmental impact, and how we embed them into what we design, build and operate.

1. Our commitment

Xtremax is committed to reducing the environmental impact of digital infrastructure, our own and our clients'. We believe the cloud can be a force for efficiency, and that well-architected systems use materially less energy than poorly architected ones.

This policy sets out how we embed sustainability into how we design, build, and operate technology, and how we run our business day to day.

2. In what we build

Efficiency is a design constraint, not an afterthought.

  • Right-sizing compute and storage as standard practice in every engagement
  • Preferring managed and serverless services that scale to zero
  • Reporting workload carbon intensity where the cloud provider exposes it
  • Designing for regions with lower grid carbon intensity where latency allows

3. In how we operate

We measure Scope 1 and 2 emissions across our offices in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, and are working toward net-zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2035.

4. Governance

This policy is owned by the sustainability working group and reviewed annually. Progress is reported to the leadership team each quarter.
