Banks publishing product and disclosure content

The problem
A bank publishes rate tables, product terms, fee schedules, and regulatory disclosures on its public site. This content is legally consequential and changes on a schedule the business does not control. Today it lives as hand-maintained pages. The same rate appears in four places and gets updated in three of them. Compliance sign-off happens over email, so the record of who cleared what gets reconstructed after the fact, usually under time pressure. Product content was never structured as data, so customers cannot search it.
The solution
Hold the content as typed collections with an enforced review path. A value is authored once, cleared once, and renders wherever it appears.
How Visor handles it
- Dynamic Data holds the content as form-based collections with defined fields, consumed through the Visor API. A rate becomes a field on a record.
- Workflow assigns approval chains per collection, so disclosure content routes through compliance while a blog post takes a shorter path.
- Configuration maps content types and slugs to layouts, keeping the record separate from its presentation.
- Search indexes chosen fields across collections and returns relational results in one response, so customers can find a product's terms.
- Publishing Delta and build history answer what was live on a given date.
What changes
Consistency becomes a property of the system. Sign-off produces its own record, so an audit gets answered from the platform. Correcting a rate is one edit through one approval, which lowers the chance of the specific failure that gets a regulated firm into trouble.
