With many facility management (FM) vendors lacking deep expertise in the cloud, Xtremax provided the Singapore Government’s Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) with the optimal infrastructure for Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
BACKGROUND
Xtremax, a leading digital transformation provider, has worked with the Singapore Government to build and maintain its GCC project. As the regulator of business registration and financial reporting in Singapore, ACRA uses many applications to uphold its mandate.Xtremax has managed ACRA’s cloud infrastructure for years, giving us an in-depth understanding of their unique needs and requirements. We designed their cloud architecture to meet the different security requirements of their applications. We are currently managing 11 applications’ infrastructure for ACRA on AWS.
ACRA needed cutting-edge cloud solutions to deliver its services and contribute to making Singapore the best place to do business in the region. Many FM vendors are not well-versed in the cloud, with limited knowledge outside cloud infrastructure. This makes it difficult to uphold GovTech standards, such as the IM8 standards, which follow the Instruction Manual for Infocomm Technology and Smart Systems (ICT&SS) Management.
